- I had not had any experience with narcissism until my late 30's. It was then that I met and began a relationship with a man that would change my life dramatically. Our relationship blossomed quickly and deeply and eventually, we moved in together and blended our families. It was a wonderful time of my life and I could not imagine what lay ahead. After two tumultuous years and countless hours of therapy, our marriage counselor suggested I learn about narcissism. What I would find out over the next year is what I wish to share with anyone who may be struggling, frustrated and overwhelmed in a relationship. This blog is meant to offer support, answers and a safe place to share stories for anyone who suspects they are either in a relationship with a narcissist, have one as a parent, a sibling or a friend. I am not a doctor, I am not a therapist, I am simply someone whose experience with narcissism has instilled in me a desire to share my story and help anyone I can by doing so.
